Current Scholarships

Scholarship Instruction Sheet

1. Read all of the instructions first! This will hopefully save you some time
2. Fill in the scholarship application page . You only need to fill this out one time. We will make copies of it for each scholarship. Filling it out means typing it!
3. Read over the list of the scholarships available on the disk. Find the ones that you qualify for. There will be several of them, so fill out as many as possible.
4. Write the essays that go with the individual scholarships.
5. PROOFREAD EVERYTHING
6. Make sure everything that you turn in is typed.
7. Make sure anything that needs to be signed by you or your parents is signed before you hand your scholarships in.
8. Make sure everything is printed and in order and hand them into Mrs. Day.
9. The deadline for the scholarships to be handed in is January 4th, however, if you get them done early, then feel free to hand them in early.
10. The scholarships are your responsibility. I will not hound you about them. The more scholarships that you apply for the more likely you are to receive some free money.

FOX 25/48 HIGH SCHOOL ALL-STARS
Eligibility Requirements:

• Senior who is getting at least a 3.0
• Must participate in high school sports
• Must do some sort of community volunteer work
• Nominations taken at www.fox25fox48.com

Wayne Jurgensen Memorial Scholarship
Can Win $1000
Eligibility Requirements: Must be going to school to major in science or education
Get applications from Mrs. Day

DEADLINE: May 1, 2008

Wisconsin Town Association
Eligibility: Any student planning on attending a Wisconsin college or technical school
Application: See Mrs. Day

DEADLINE: May 27, 2008

TIP Grant
Eligibility: Based on high financial need on a first come first serve basis
Application: See Mrs. Day

DEADLINE: As soon as possible

L.G. Armstrong Camp #49 Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War Scholarship
Can win: $200
Eligibility: Must be a descendant of a Union Civil War Veteran
Application: See Mrs. Day

DEADLINE: May 1, 2008
